Our first week of quarantine was very strange. It was a welcome relief from our daily grind which had become exhausting. We all came back home to homeschool at our home. This was not a hard transition since we had been homeschooling 2 years prior. It was fun to all be home again together. However I will never forget the feeling of watching the corona virus evolve into a world wide pandemic. No cases were reported in Kazakhstan but it started to creep towards our loved ones in America. It felt strange to feel a constant urge to check the news and wonder what was going to happen next. Where it would show up next.
