Singing in the Rain

Although it has been rainy outside Kalena and I enjoyed the warm L.A. weather in our rain jackets today. We walked and splashed in the puddles, then made boats out of rose petals. I finally found a good use for those roses on the side of our house. They make excellent little boats and Kalena and I pulled apart about five beautiful pink, white and red roses, tossed them in the "river" that was flowing in our gutter. We then ran after the petals as they sailed down the street. It seems that since L.A. doesn't get much rain they don't have then need to clean the storm drains regularly. This can pose significant problems while driving (Shennelle, Kalena and I almost drowned... while in the car :) but makes for some wonderful splashing fun!
